We are Haley (Red Chick) and Jessie (Yellow Chick). Nevada Natives and Reno enthusiasts, we have been in the food and beverage industry since we first held employment! We even met by working at a restaurant together! Best friends and co-workers for over a decade, we are more like sisters than business partners. We have both held just about every food service position; I guess you could say the industry is in our blood. We first entered into owning our own food business with the GourMelt Grilled Cheese Truck in 2011. We had wonderful success, many awards, and great fun with the food truck but it was always our plan to move on to brick and mortar. Two Chicks, which opened in 2014, is our first full dining restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch. We are proud of our menus and our commitment to offer fresh ingredients, homemade dishes and elevated comfort food. All of our food is made with love and we hope you feel like family in our place. Off the clock, you can find Dutney skiing, hiking, or loving on his growing family. When he’s at work, he’s keeping things running like a well-oiled machine as one of our Front of House Managers. His calm but steady nature makes him a perfect addition to our crazy brunch world.

Rhi has been with us for years, starting as a hostess and working her way up to Assistant Manager. A true Libra, she is known for her fairness and balanced approach. Her sense of humor and animated personality make her a joy to work with, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Maria joined our team and was absolutely the glue we needed. She’s kind, while never missing a beat with what needs to be done. She takes great care in making sure every plate comes out looking how The Chicks themselves would like it to be served!

Nicole was one of our first hires in 2014, and we really can’t picture The Two Chicks story without her! Her warm smile is matched only by her warm hugs. We feel lucky to have her to help lead our team after all these years.

Mel has been with us for 4 years, but it feels like she has always been with us. She was the missing piece to our puzzle, and is now hard at work making sure that our restaurants stay clean and customers leave smiling. Off the clock, Mel is hanging out with her hubby and loving on her dogs!
