Cheers to Ten Years!
This month, we are genuinely excited to celebrate a truly significant milestone: ten incredible years of Two Chicks! During this decade we dedicated to serving our community, we have been blessed with immeasurable joy, countless cherished memories, and enduring friendships that have enriched both of our lives.
From the beginning, we have consistently worked hard to create a welcoming space where people can come together to enjoy delicious meals and share special moments. We are so proud of what we have created alongside the brilliant minds of our team, and we feel ready to take on the next ten years. Our journey has been filled with many challenges, but we are grateful to have come out on the other side and stronger than ever.
Surviving the COVID-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges for many communities, including our Two Chicks family. As we navigated through lockdowns and health concerns, our resolve was tested in ways we had never imagined. We faced difficulties not only in maintaining our operations but also in supporting each other amidst the uncertainty.
Perhaps even harder than the effects of the pandemic, was the loss of some of our Two Chicks family. We are grateful to have known Karen, Dake, and Moises and to have shared a table with them. They will forever be with us in spirit, brewing coffee and serving delicious breakfast.
Through all the trials, we never lost sight of our mission. Our commitment to supporting each other and our community remained steadfast. We drew strength from the shared experiences of loss, growth, and survival, understanding that every challenge also held the potential for new beginnings. Through all of the uncertainty, we were able to seize the opportunity to grow and expand. Opening our second location allowed us to foster a fresh environment, bringing new energy, momentum, and possibilities. This transition was not just about a physical space; it symbolized our resilience and determination to adapt and thrive despite adversity. The support and community we felt during this time inspired us to create “The Champagne Campaign”- our in-house community outreach program. Through this program, we’ve been able to donate over $40,000 to local nonprofits in an effort to give back to the community who championed our business when we needed it the most.
The journey has been tough, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything. We continue to move forward, learning from the past while embracing the future with hope. Together, we celebrate each success, honor those we have lost, and remain dedicated to never giving up. As we take a moment to reflect on the past ten years, we feel immense pride in the fact that through food and love, we can do anything. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this remarkable journey.
Here’s to many more years of food, laughter, and togetherness at Two Chicks!
